Example

bash
!addcmd !test this is a test
This command will show "this is a test" when someone uses it.

Variables

You can make the commands dynamic by using following type of variables.

  1. {user} - This text will be replaced by the name of the user running the command.
  2. {<number>} - This will be replaced by the arguments passed to the command. e.g. {1} will get replaced by the first word after the command, {2} will be replaced by second word after the command and so on...
  3. {<counter>} - This will be replaced by the latest value of the counter.
  4. {url} - This will be replaced by the twitch url of the user running the command.
  5. {game} - This will be replaced by the game currently being played.
  6. {yt-latest-url} - This will be replaced by the URL of your latest YouTube video. It expands only after a YouTube channel id has been configured.
  7. {yt-latest-title} - This will be replaced by the title of your latest YouTube video. You can use above variables in any combination when creating a command.

Example 1

Below command adds a command with variables.

bash
!addcmd !hug {user} just hugged {1}! Aww so sweet <3

Now suppose a user named "JohnWick" runs this command

bash
!hug @puppy

The output will be

bash
JohnWick just hugged @puppy! Aww so sweet <3

Example 2 with counters

First add a counter.

bash
!addcounter deaths

Set/Increment the counter.

bash
!deaths 20

Add a command

bash
!addcmd !status Hey {user}, Astrid has died {deaths} times so far.

The output will be,

bash
Hey JohnWick, Astrid has died 20 times so far.
